Welcome to Niagara Music. By accessing or using our website, creating an account, posting a listing, or participating in community discussions, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About the service

Niagara Music is an online directory and community platform for musicians, bands, venues, shows, jam spaces, and music stores in the Niagara region. We provide tools to discover listings, create profiles, message other users, and participate in community discussions.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the site.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Niagara Music. If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, you should use the site only with permission from a parent or guardian.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Listings and profile content

• Keep contact details current and respond to inquiries in a respectful manner.

4. Community discussions

Community posts and comments should stay relevant, respectful, and lawful. We may remove content or restrict accounts that engage in harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, or other disruptive behaviour.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization.
• Scrape, crawl, or overload the service in ways that impair others.
• Upload malware or interfere with site security or performance.
• Harvest personal information from other users without consent.

6. Messaging and third-party contact

Niagara Music may facilitate messaging between users or display contact details provided by listing owners. We are not a party to arrangements made off-platform and do not guarantee the conduct, availability, or quality of any user, venue, service, or event listed on the site.

7. Intellectual property

The Niagara Music name, branding, site design, and original platform content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service.

8. Disclaimer

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that listings, community posts, or user communications are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Niagara Music and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including lost profits, lost data, or disputes between users.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the site, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or if necessary to protect users or the platform. You may stop using the site at any time.
